We specialise in offering a 'peacephil' stay to greyhounds with a stable and calm energy. We can sometimes accommodate lurchers and whippets.

It is important that your dog is well-socialised and walks well on the lead. As lovely as all dogs may be, we cannot accomodate reactive or hyperactive dogs. By staying true to who we are and how we like to live, we can offer your greyhound the very best care. You can enjoy your time away, knowing that we are offering your gentle hound a relaxing holiday of their own.

Of course they’ll miss you, but you can relax knowing that they’re enjoying lovely walks. There’ll be time for plenty of roaching, whilst keeping a sneaky ear out for fridge doors and cheese wrappers!

Quiet and Peace(phil)

Hello, I'm Phil, a professional, trained, licensed, and insured dog boarder. Just as our greyhounds have retired from the hectic world of the racing track, I retired in 2023 from the hectic world of teaching art in a busy school.

It’s been years in the planning, but I’ve made the move to Scarborough on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. I live with my partner Kate, who works with me at Peacephil Dog Stays, and our retired greyhound Merlin.
